Gramercy’s educational program works in cooperation with the NC Department of Nonpublic Education and is a participating member in the Association of Christian Schools International. Our curriculum has consistently exceeded the norms of standardized testing (IOWA, PSAT, SAT, and ACT) and academic requirements exceed the minimum NC graduation requirements.
Gramercy Seniors take the SAT, and scores are reported regardless of scoring level. The public schools only report students taking the SAT that are college-bound and achieve a set score level. For example, in 2020, Craven County public schools tested an average of 30% of graduating students with a mean average score of 1069, and Carteret County public schools tested an average of 35% of of graduating students with a mean average score of 1165. In 2019, Gramercy tested 100% of graduating students, with a mean average score of 1204.
Our students participate in the National Beta Club (Grades 7-12), the American Math Competition (Grades 9-12*), the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT), PSAT 10, IOWA, the College Board SAT, and the ACT (Grades 11-12).
The high school offers 11 different honors courses in math and science, and Gramercy graduates have been well prepared to pursue higher education at major public and private universities, colleges, military academies, and trade schools, with over $4 million dollars in academic scholarships!
